In line with the 5th Cooperative Principles by the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) that states:
5. Education, Training, and Information
Cooperatives provide education and training for their members, elected representatives, managers, and employees so they can contribute effectively to the development of their co-operatives. They inform the general public – particularly young people and opinion leaders – about the nature and benefits of co-operation.
Barbaza MPC conducted Membership Education Seminars to all of its branch. By updating the members, officers and staff of the current status of the Coop, they are also been oriented on “Disaster Risk Reduction Management” (DRRM) . Barbaza MPC invited speakers from National Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Council (NDRRMC) from the respective areas of the branches to lecture and have a discussion regarding DRRM.
