Barbaza Multi-Purpose Cooperative joined the Gawad Kalinga 10.10 Nationwide Hunger Warriors Unite feeding event last October 10, 2020.
More than 150 children from Brgy. Magtulis – Barbaza, Antique and adjacent Barangay were fed healthy and delicious meal (done 30-50 at a time as part of health protocol).
The GK 10.10. feeding event was a simultaneous nationwide endeavor, with almost 500 participating communities and barangays expected to feed the hungry children in their area. Gawad Kalinga, in partnership with NATCCO, Ateneo OF LIFE Program, partner co-ops, and other development partners invited co-ops, organizations, groups, barangays, and communities to take part in 10.10 campaign—a nationwide simultaneous feeding of 10,000 kids last October 10, 2020.
